My
name is Kaitlyn Turner, originally from Franklin, PA and moved to West
Middlesex, PA a few months ago. I grew up always around animals ranging from
snakes, lizards, rabbits, hamsters, horses, cows, pigs, dogs, you name it. I
currently have two dogs, two cats, and two horses. I have always had a
passion to help animals in need and make a better home for them. When the
time came to decide what I wanted to go to college for I knew that a
Veterinary Technician was the only future I wanted to pursue. I graduated in
2008 from the Veterinary Technician Institute and instantly started working
as a technician in an animal hospital. I loved seeing animals get better and
be able to inform their owners on basic care and how to keep their pets
happy and healthy. I recently had an interest in being able to help owners
more because that is where it starts, with the owner. If you can help and
inform the owners then the animal will have a better home and a healthier
life. I am very excited to be apart of the APA SPCA to have an influence and
be a part of this great team.
